Instantly Sending Policy

Throughout Instantly's existence, we have actively collaborated with the global anti-spam community, including Internet Service Providers, Email Service Providers, and anti-spam organizations, in the ongoing battle against spam.

Each day, we encounter email senders who engage in impersonation of reputable brands and attempt to phish for personal information. To safeguard the reputation of our clients and their intended recipients, we have established our own set of rules in addition to the existing spam laws in certain countries.

These rules not only aid us in identifying spammers but also enhance your email deliverability and contribute to the development of a strong sending reputation.

Regrettably, neglecting to abide by these rules may impact your ability to send emails and utilize our services. In some instances, it could result in rate limitations on your email sending or temporary or permanent suspension of your account.

Core Statistics Explained:

Bounces: Similar to physical mail, when an email cannot be delivered to its intended destination and is returned to the sender, it is considered a bounce. This occurs when the recipient's email address is incorrect or inactive.

Unsubscribes: These are recipients who choose to opt out of receiving further communication. There can be various reasons for this, such as a lack of interest in the content being published, an overwhelming inbox, or a mismatch between the content and their expectations.

Blocks: Messages that are prevented from leaving Instantly's servers due to permanent errors. This includes email addresses that have previously bounced because they are non-existent or invalid, or have been reported as spam. It also encompasses addresses that have generated complaints from recipients or failed to pass through Instantly's spam filters.

Spam Complaints: The number of recipients who have marked your message as spam.

Spamtrap Hits: After a period of inactivity, webmail providers convert email addresses into spam traps to identify senders using outdated or purchased lists from third-party companies.

Unjustified Abuse Complaint: When a recipient reports a sender for sending messages without their consent.

Rules:

Listed below are five rules that you must adhere to in order to optimize your deliverability rates, prevent any account suspension, and assist us in the fight against spam.

INCLUSION OF AN UNSUBSCRIBE LINK IN EVERY CAMPAIGN

Every campaign must feature a prominent and easily accessible link that allows recipients to opt out of future communication. The link should be clear, concise, and easily recognizable. Once a recipient opts out, immediate action must be taken to ensure no further emails are sent to that individual.

CAN-SPAM Act Compliance

Make sure that your all your email campaigns comply with the CAN-SPAM Act.

Before sending any email sequence, familiarize with CAN-SPAM Act or any similar regulation that might be available in the country of residents of your contacts.

CLEAR COMMUNICATION OF SENDER NAME AND STATUS IN EVERY MESSAGE

The "From," "To," and "Reply-To" fields must accurately and explicitly identify the sender's domain name and email address. It is essential to send emails from domains that are at least one month old and have transparent public domain records that redirect to the sender's legal pages. When sending on behalf of a partner or related third-party organization using a different domain name, the email body must clearly indicate that the message is being sent via a third-party domain.

RESTRICTION TO LEGAL AND LEGITIMATE INFORMATION WITH INSTANTLY

Instantly strictly prohibits the sending of messages containing, promoting, referencing, or linking to unlawful, illegal, libelous, defamatory, or violent content targeting individuals or groups and violating human rights. Furthermore, unless the sender provides satisfactory and specific guarantees at Instantly's sole discretion, Instantly generally does not collaborate with senders who promote activities including, but not limited to, gambling, sexual/adult content, weapons and explosives, tobacco or tobacco-related products, drugs, political campaigns, hacking, penny stocks, forex trading and trading advice, payday loans, lead sales, and work-at-home offers related to "get rich quick," "build your wealth," and "financial independence" schemes. Instantly also does not support the sending of emails on behalf of third parties, including their own customers. In general, your emails must not contain any information or content that Instantly deems unsuitable or detrimental to its reputation, its affiliates, partners, customers, or users.

If your business falls under the regulation of an authority (e.g., medications, investments, lending, banking, gambling, betting, medicine, etc.), we kindly request that you contact our sales department to discuss obtaining a custom account instead of subscribing to a self-service account. Instantly retains the right to request relevant documents and licenses related to your business activities.
