Both pay commission on referred revenue and we won't pay twice on the same account, so pick the one that matches how you actually work. Everything else stacks. A customer can refer peers and run an affiliate link. A creator can take paid content deals and still earn commission. If you think you genuinely span two programs, apply to the closest fit and tell us in the application.

It depends on the program. Affiliate and Solutions Partners earn recurring commission tracked in PartnerStack and paid monthly, with a short hold period after each sale so cancellations and refunds clear before payout. Creators are paid per brief on the terms in your content agreement. Referral pays in Instantly account credits rather than cash, granted once the person you referred moves to a paid plan. Data partnerships are commercial agreements with terms set case by case.

For Referral and Solutions Partners, yes. Referral runs inside your account, so you need an active paid plan to generate a link. Solutions Partners need an active paid plan plus at least one live client account on Instantly, because we only certify people who actually run the product. Affiliate, Creators, and Data are open to non-customers. You don't need to be paying us to promote us, though most of our best partners use Instantly anyway.

Become a Solutions Partner. The listing is a program benefit from the entry tier up, so there's no separate application. Get approved and your profile goes live. Higher tiers get featured placement and a tier badge you can use on your own site and LinkedIn. The bar to get in is deliberate: an active paid plan, at least one live client account, a registered business, and a signed deliverability code of conduct. In cold email, one bad operator damages sending reputation for everyone, so we take fewer partners on purpose.

Affiliate pays you on results. Share your link, earn recurring commission for as long as the customer stays. No brief, no deadline, no sign-off on what you post. Creators pays you for the work. We commission content against a real brief, you keep editorial control, and you get paid whether or not that piece converts. It's a smaller, curated group with perks and an ambassador path on top.

Short version: Affiliate is performance, Creators is content. Got an audience and want recurring income? Affiliate. Make content for a living and want paid deals? Creators.
