Connect Your Sending Accounts
Infrastructure sounds intimidating, but it's simpler than you think. All it means in the context of outbound is that you need real email accounts to send from. These accounts need to be healthy, warmed up, and properly configured so your emails actually land in inboxes instead of spam.
The old way of doing this was a nightmare. Buying domains, setting up DNS records, connecting accounts manually, warming them up over weeks, monitoring deliverability, rotating IPs, managing sending limits. It was practically a full-time job. Instantly handles all of that for you.
You get three options depending on how fast you want to move. The first is Done-For-You (DFY) inboxes. These are fully managed, ready-to-send email accounts that Instantly sets up and maintains for you. No DNS, no configuration, no waiting. Just click a button and they're live. This is the fastest way to start sending and the recommended option for most people.
The second option is pre-warmed accounts. These are plug-and-play, ready-to-send accounts you can use the moment you buy them. They're unbranded, meaning you can't choose the sending domain, but that's completely fine. What matters is your message, your targeting, and your value prop. People reply to relevance, not sender domains.
The third option is bringing your own accounts. You can connect your own Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or SMTP inboxes. This gives you full control, but it also means you're responsible for warming them up and managing the technical side.
Once your accounts are connected, Instantly automatically starts warming them up. Emails get sent back and forth between inboxes to build reputation and deliverability. IPs are rotated, sending limits are managed, and account health is monitored. You don't have to touch any of it.

Alright. Let's talk about infrastructure. I know that word sounds intimidating, but I promise you this is way easier than it sounds. Here's all infrastructure means in the context of outbound.
You need real email accounts to send from. That's it. You're not sending from one magic instantly server. You're sending from actual Gmail accounts, Outlook accounts, or custom SMTP inboxes.
And those accounts need to be healthy, warmed up, and properly configured, so your emails actually land in people's inboxes instead of spam. Now the old way of doing this was a nightmare. You'd buy domains, set up DNS records, connect accounts manually, warm them up over weeks, monitor deliverability, and rotate IPs, manage sending limits. It was a full time job.
Instantly handles all of that for you. And we give you three options depending on how fast you want to move. The first option is done for you inboxes. We call them DFY accounts.
These are fully managed, ready to send email accounts that we set up and maintain for you. You literally just click a button and they're live. No DNS, no configuration, no waiting. This is the fastest way to start sending and honestly, it's what I recommend for most people.
The second option is pre warmed accounts that you can see here. These are plug and play, ready to send accounts that you can start using the moment you buy them. They're unbranded, which means you can't choose the domain you're sending from, but that's completely fine. They work just as well and you can start sending immediately.
The third option is bringing your own accounts. You can connect your own Google Workspace, Microsoft three sixty five or SMTP inboxes. This gives you full control, but it also means you're responsible for warming them up and managing the technical side. Now, quick note on those pre warmed accounts.
They're unbranded. That means they're not tied to your company domain. And I know what you're thinking. Won't that hurt my reply rates?
No. It doesn't. We've tested this extensively. What matters is your message, your targeting, and your value prop, not whether the email comes from john at your company dot com or Alex at some more generic domain.
People reply to relevance, not sender domains.
Let me show you how to connect an account. You go to the accounts tab, you click add account, and choose your method. If you're going with DFY, it's one click and you're done. If you're connecting Google or Microsoft, you authenticate through their interface and grant instantly permission to send on your behalf.
It takes about sixty seconds. Once your accounts are connected, instantly automatically starts warming them up for you if you enable that option. That means we're sending emails back and forth between inboxes to build reputation and deliverability. We're rotating IPs, managing sending limits, and monitoring health.
You don't have to touch any of this. It just happens. Now you might be wondering about DNS records and custom tracking domains. Those exist, and if you want to get technical, there's documentation for that.
But here's the truth. If you're using DFY or pre warmed accounts, you don't need to worry about it. If you're curious about how healthy your setup is exactly, you can run something called a inbox placement test. That shows you where your emails are landing.
Inbox, spam, promotions, whatever. But even that's optional at this stage. The system is already optimized for deliverability out of the box. The main thing I want you to take away from this is that infrastructure is not something you need to stress about.
Connect your accounts, let instantly handle the warming and management, and move on to the fun part, which is actually sending campaigns. Next up, we're going to find your leads using instantly built in database super search. Let's go.
