Find Leads Inside Instantly
Instantly has a lead database built right into the platform with hundreds of millions of leads. You don't need another tool. You can find your ideal prospects, enrich them, and add them to campaigns without ever leaving the platform.
Inside the Leads tab, you'll find the database where you can search for contacts. Filter by job title, company size, industry, location, technology stack, or whatever criteria matter to your ICP. If you're targeting SaaS founders in the US with companies between ten and fifty employees, you set those filters, hit search, and Instantly pulls a list of people who match.
The platform uses a waterfall enrichment method to find email addresses. That means it pulls data from multiple providers to give you the highest match rate possible. If one provider doesn't have the email, it checks the next one and the next one until it finds it. You're not dealing with low match rates or missing data.
You can also layer in buying signals and intent data for more targeted outreach. Things like recent funding rounds, job changes, or technology stack updates. But for your first campaign, keeping it simple with basic filters works great.
Once you've got your list, you can add leads directly to a campaign. Select your leads, choose the campaign you want to add them to, and you're done. The leads go straight into your sequence. If you already have a list from somewhere else, you can also import a CSV and Instantly will enrich any missing data for you.
Finding leads is no longer a separate step. It's built right into the platform, and it's fast.

Alright. Now that your infrastructure is set up, let's talk about getting leads so you actually have people to reach out to. Here's what most people do. They go to some third party tool, scrape a list, export a CSV, import it somewhere else, hope the data is good, realize half the emails are invalid, and then start over.
It's a mess. Instantly has a lead database built right into the platform with hundreds of millions of leads. You don't need another tool. You can find your ideal prospects, enrich them, and add them to campaigns without ever leaving instantly.
Let's go to the leads tab and open the database. This is where you search for contacts. You can filter by job title, company size, industry location, technology stack, whatever criteria matter to your ICP. Let's say you're targeting SaaS founders in the US with companies between ten and fifty employees.
You set those filters, hit search, and instantly pulls off that list of people who match.

Now, if you already have a list for somewhere else, you can import a CSV. You go to import leads, upload your file, map the columns, and instantly will bring them in. We can also enrich that data for you if it's missing information like email addresses or anything else, but honestly, the built in database is going to be your best bet most of the time because the data is already clean and enriched. You can also use tags and workspaces to organize your leads if you're running multiple campaigns or targeting different segments, but we're not going to get into that right now.
